Let’s get into the heart of it. DBH officially launched on November 18, 2020. That date is sacred—it’s my grandmother’s birthday. She raised me since I was 6 months old and was the ultimate inspiration. Before she passed in 2017, I promised her I’d build my own empire, and honey, a promise is a promise. Every time you shop with us, you’re helping me honor the woman who made me who I am today.

Real talk: the road wasn't always paved with rose petals. Between beauty school, planning a wedding, and my previous job literally closing its doors overnight without warning, I had to take a beat. I was doing it all—solo.

But a Dream Queen doesn't stay down; she adjusts her crown. I took that time to build a solid foundation, and now DBH is back, better, and more driven than ever. This business is my baby, and 2024 is the year we thrive.
